Specific Dress Rehearsal & Show Information:

You will need costume(s), skates and SKATE GUARDS that are clearly labeled with the skater’s name for Dress Rehearsal and each Show. SKATE GUARDS ARE A MUST, THERE ISN’T ANY RUBBER MATTING FROM ALC ROOM TO THE ICE. If you are in more than one number you will need to change costumes at Dress Rehearsal just like you will in the Shows.

Dress rehearsal night (Thursday March 19th).   Please be dressed and ready with your skates on at 5:45pm in your assigned area.  Dress rehearsal will start at 6:00pm.  Room assignments are attached and will be posted around the rink and on the FFSC bulletin board.

Instructions for Dress Rehearsal and Shows:

Skaters who are in the first half of the show:

  • Skaters should be in their assigned area with costume and skates on 20 minutes before the show.
  • Skaters wait in their assigned area with the Room Monitor until the coach runner gets them for their number.
  • They will then line up quietly until it’s time to get on the ice.
  • After the skaters perform their number, they will go back to their assigned area.
  • The skaters are to stay in their assigned area with the Room Monitor until intermission.
  • At intermission, parents of Learn to Skate skaters (Snowplow Sam to Freeskate) please pick up your skater, check them out with the Room Monitor and either watch the rest of the show or head home at that time.

*** At our Sunday show (the last performance) we will be having a Grand Finale in which all the skaters will participate. There will be an announcement when those skaters from the first half should head to the lower level front lobby. This will be after the Zootopia “Try Everything” number.

Skaters who are in the second half of the show:

  • Skaters should go to their assigned area right at the end of the first half of the show.
  • Skaters wait in their assigned area with the Room Monitor until the coach runner gets them for their number.
  • They will then line up quietly until it’s time to get on the ice.
  • After the skaters perform their number, they will return to their assigned area.
  • The skaters are to stay in their assigned area with the Room Monitor until the show is over.
  • After the show, parents of Learn to Skate skaters (Snowplow Sam to Freeskate) please pick up your skater and   check them out with the Room Monitor.

**Skaters that are in more than one number (private lesson groups) will get changed in assigned locker room and then go up to the ALC room to wait for your next number.

- The main focus for the above system is for the safety of your skaters. It will be smooth for us in getting groups on and off the ice. There will be overall less disruption for our spectators in the stands.

Snacks: Your skater may bring or buy at the concession stand, water and a snack that is not messy to have in their assigned area. Please no colored juices or snack that would have the potential to stain costumes.

Room Monitors are important! Please volunteer your time!!  (You will be able to watch the number with your skaters. We will have a spot in the stands reserved for you.)

Full Cast Picture will be taken on the ice in front of the set at after the show on Sunday March 22nd! Please plan to stay! We want everyone in the picture!
